Snatched From the Hand of the Enemy

The writer Luke writes “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:” (Luke 22:31, KJV)

I like the way the Amplified records it:

“Simon, Simon (Peter), listen! Satan has asked excessively that [all of] you be given up to him [out of the power and keeping of], that he might sift [all of] you like grain,”

The book of Job, 1:6-12 delineates that Satan must get permission from God to carry out his egregious attacks. Unequivocally, God summons Peter to pay attention and understand that Satan is relentless in his attempt to destroy him. He must first get permission to  sift him to grain–to just about nothing.

This epic story of Job depicts a righteous man who followed the statures of God, but still experienced tribulation. Whether you make a decision to follow God or chose your own way, you will not escape the insidious plots and ploys of Satan. However, his ultimate desire is to destroy the Saints and render them hopeless–no prosperity and no destiny.

Satan knows your secrets and desires to attack your old nature. He counts on you being given over to temptation-sin. Yes, we will be tempted at all points, but there is a way of escape by submitting to God, he then has no choice but to flee. Once you fall victim to him, you give him authority and access to torment, and hold you captive to his power and influence. Have you ever given yourself over to sin knowing that God has called you to a greater place? In this place, you are weak and the flesh becomes strong.

I love the story of ‘Shrek Forever After.’ Shrek, lost his confidence and his appreciation for family and friends. Consequently, he sold himself to an evil dragon and suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have not met. Now, it‘s up to Shrek to undo all he‘s done in hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one true Love.

What an awesome storyline and message. In the end, all is restored back to Shrek. This is what the Lord desires to do for you and me. Though we have fallen, we can be snatched from the hand of the enemy. Experience in the Kingdom of God has taught me to get guidance from the Holy Spirit. It leads and gives the tools and plan for spiritual warfare. To loose yourself and family members, you must close every open door and gateway of the enemy. Therefore, you sever all avenues and portals of communication. This will indeed cut the lifeline. Even imagination must be brought into the obedience of Christ. Satan plays on our mind–we know that the battlefield is in the mind. This is where Satan thrives. Prayer and supplication is your power source. I am referring to warfare prayer that eradicates the enemy’s strategic landmines and missiles. Your prayer will elicit a response from the enemy, but know that you are not defeated but victorious. Your prayer is to come against wickedness in high places, rulers of darkness, and powers of this world. Witches and warlocks must submit to the authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Hex and spells are dismantled and destroyed. Charge the angles of the Lord to excel in strength–to contend with those who contend with you, and fight against those who fight against you.

David was audacious, he took authority over the declarations that Goliath put into the atmosphere and brought the uncircumcised philistine down. To finish him off he severed his head with the sword–the lifeline of the devil was cut. This is the same power you have to restore your finance, health, marriage, family, and your spiritual relationship with the almighty God.

Get up my daughter, rise and shake off the ashes. Dry your eyes–God has given you a garment of praise. I decree today that evil is shaken out of its place concerning you. What the devil meant for evil, God has turned into good. Everything in your life that is misaligned and contrary to the Word of God, must now line up and be subject to God’s Word and statues. See all of Psalms 119, and the entire book of Proverbs. You have been snatched from the hand of the enemy. Understand the plot wasn’t to just destroy you, but his attempt was to take your family down and all you possess destroyed. His sardonic grin and sneer cannot penetrate the firewall that the Lord has around you. He wanted to claim what was yours for himself. It is like a women (harlot) who goes after a married man. What she is really trying to do is claim him for herself and or take the place of his wife. It can not happen no matter how hard the demon tries. It is not legal and cannot stand in the presence of the almighty God. In prayer the enemies’ plot is destroyed and you have aristocratic rights and power to take back all the spoils. You are victorious!
