Family Traditions and Moments to Cherish

Resurrection Sunday with the Carter clan was refreshing as usual.  We all met to visit the matriarch of the family, who is my husbands mom, aka G-Ma. Whenever we gathered together as a family, it is customary that the Carter ladies select one of her hats to pose for a group photo. No embellishing; my mother in-law has a hat room and in that room is a hat to complete any fashion ensemble. There is a hat  for every season and in whatever color you desire. It is amazing that although pictures have been taken over time, never once was the same hat worn.

These are times and moments to cherish–the memories are indelible. Ladies, you are all uniquely and wonderfully made by God. It is awesome to watch you all mature into lovely women; you are all stunning.

Cherish the time with your daughters and sons.  The scripture from the New Testament, Matthew 6:33 says,  “Seek Him and His righteousness and all things will be added unto you.” We are to excel our progenitors. God has promised each prosperity and prosperity. This scripture has kept me and also reminds me everyday of the greatness that lies in me. Through Him, I understand and know that I am never denied and I only receive the best in all things.

The Bible delineates that all things will be added unto us by faith and commitment to our Lord if we believe. This scripture is powerful! The key is to believe. It important that we know who we are and what has been laid out for us by Him. Know your purpose
and follow God for your god-given purpose.

Ladies, there is no lack in Him…whatever you need He has it. I am not speaking religion, but relationship. You deserve the best!
